If you’re looking for somewhere to feel centered and feast on fine foods, we suggest you check out this new Chelsea gem. From the very Zen decor, to the flavorful food, and the impeccable service, there’s nothing we didn’t like about this fine eatery and lounge.

While definitely orderly and organized, this restaurant has an incredibly warm and relaxing vibe. Innovative designer AvroKO, best known for Public restaurant, cultivates an open feeling with white curtains that flow from high ceilings, contrasted by rich, dark woods, and soft candle glow. Upon entering, you step into a lounge area outfitted with creamy white leather sofas and giant planters. Divas, this is a great spot to try a new drink—we suggest the Bitter Beauty—and enjoy a few tasty morsels (can you say, rock shrimp and mango rice paper roll? Or Steak, Fries & Spicy Apricot Chili Sauce?). Venture further into the dining room for a not-quite-formal; but not-quite-casual dinner that is decidedly delicious… and just right.

The cuisine is Modern French-Southeast Asian by Chef Patricia Yeo, who earned 3 stars from the New York Times for her Asian-American cuisine at AZ. She once again calls forth her talent for merging cuisines with a deft, creative hand.
