Hey Divas!
What do you have planned for the rest of your summer? Knowing you as we do, we’re betting you’ll either be in the public eye, or working on looking so good that all eyes will be drawn your way. Of course, that won’t be hard for a Diva! But maybe you’re looking for a bit of help anyway? Some advice on how to look great and be healthy about it? Well, let us introduce you to Donna Sonkin!

Donna Sonkin is a holistic health counselor accredited with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners. Her “Get Thin for the Camera” program helps actors, models, authors and performers of all types get thin and healthy in an enjoyable way. Sonkin teaches her clients how to cook and eat healthfully and how to make great food and exercise choices. She is a strong believer in the concept of listening to your own body’s special needs in order to live a happy, healthy life.

Sonkin has lectured to graduate and undergraduate students in New York University’s Atlantic Theater Company program, to first-year associates at Credit Suisse, to middle school students at The School at Columbia University, and to the Girl Scouts of America. She has offered her 6-week intensive “Get Fit for the Camera” program at acting studios including One On One Productions and Stella Adler in New York City, and has taught nutrition classes at the Monologue Audition Intensive led by Karen Kohlhaas. This summer, she will work with new, young models at Elite Model Management’s “Model Camp.” She is also a regular contributor on men’s health and nutrition to Debonair magazine..
