Since the first loin cloth was ever fastened, fashion designers have been using celebrities to promote their collections…and so they should – because, really, who doesn’t want to look like a celebrity?!

More recently though, celebs have taken their influence on fashion one step further by designing their own lines for the mass-tige:

Justin Timberlake is bringing sexy denim back with his William Rast jeans. We LOVE the Savoy trouser in the dust wash – check out that detailing on the pockets!

Sarah Jessica Parker’s Bitten collection is now available at Steve & Barry’s – with each item priced at or below $20, which is literally pennies in comparison to what Carrie would have spent on a pair of shoes!

Sienna Miller recently collaborated with her sister Savannah to create twenty8twelve – a collection of printed silk dresses, cropped tuxedo jackets, and leather bomber jackets.

Even Posh Spice herself, Victoria Beckham, has joined the movement by creating her own line of HUGE sunglasses under the name dVb.

And let’s not forget about the Olsen Twins, who have recently dropped luxury brand The Row on us.

Now, though we all know that real designers come from long hours threading a bobbin, we’re wondering if Sienna Miller could possibly design something that can stand up to a Diane Von Furstenberg. The answer? It doesn’t matter. People cannot get enough of celebrity designs!
