Lora Drasner Celebrates Sunsets at Epic--Miami

Self-taught photographer, Lora Drasner, along with her husband, Fred Drasner, celebrated the launch of Lora’s first book, Sunsets at EPIC Residences and Hotel. The sun setting on beautiful Biscayne Bay provided the perfect backdrop for the evening, as Lora was on hand to sign books while guests enjoyed Champagne, hor d’ouvres and music by DJ Shlomi. Accentuating the night, Lora was dressed in true sunset style in a beautifully designed red and orange Nameen Khan dress. The sunset cocktail event also marked the debut of Lora’s artwork, consisting of several of her photographs transferred to canvas, including the Heart Reef in the Great Barrier Reef, Australia and a sunset of the Central Park skyline, which was bought during the event.

Bertolli - making romance last

Hai there Diva's. Recently I got my hands on the new ready pasta sauce by Bertolli. I just boiled some ravioli and garnished it with this new sauce. The results were yummy and romantic. Me and my boyfriend sat down for this great dinner and spent some quality time together. I felt like a chef and was romanced for being such a great cook. I just wanted to share this new product from Bertolli of premium sauce pouches with you Diva's. Even a relationship expert , with whom I sat down with talking food and romance agreed. She even added that cooking up a frozen meal gives you time to enjoy your dinner and focus on your relationship, rather than being stressed out while sweating away in the kitchen. Also mentioning that most couples feel like romance is lacking from their relationship. And it isn’t a surprise. We are all busy, stressed, and forget that intimate conversations are an essential part of a relationship. According to the Bertolli Romance Report 84% of American couples would rather have dinner together. Sharing a meal gives you and your partner an opportunity to reconnect, emotionally and physically. A little time spent together - without the cell phones and Blackberrys - goes a long way.
Another survey finding says that almost fur in ten (38%) of Americans agree that in an age where open lines of communication are literally at our fingertips, people are finding it harder and harder to connect with loved ones on a personal and intimate level. Food not only inspires conversation, but also gives couples the quality time needed for a healthy relationship. Its one of the simplest ways couples can revive their romance.

White-Hot Chic at Social Miami at the Sagamore--Miami

null
The summer is upon us, Divas and what better reason to step inside one of the coolest restaurants in Miami? It doesn't get more glamorous than the glossy white-on-white Social Miami at the Sagamore Hotel. Designer Sharon Lewis outfits the Jestsons-esque space with white leather barstools, marble tabletops and silver mesh curtains that compliment hotel owners Marty and Cricket Taplin’s contemporary art collection. The global menu of tapas-like plates is ideal for sharing like gnocchi with oxtail ragu and crab-stuffed deviled eggs.
