Movie Synopsis

Duane Martin and Kelly Rowland (of Destiny's Child) star in The Seat Filler.

Derrick (Duane Martin) is a struggling law graduate living in Los Angeles on his own and struggling to make ends meet.

He lets his childhood best friend E.J. (DeRay Davis) talk him into taking a job as a seat filler, while he studies for the bar exam. Fate plays a role on his first day as a seat filler, when Derrick is seated next to the beautiful superstar, Jhnelle (Kelly Rowland).

They have an instant connection, but as quickly as she appears, she is gone, leaving both of them to wonder what if?
