Quench Hunger 2006

Divas, we have the best excuse to go out and eat this month, like the Social Divas need one! Evian Water partners with Local Restaurants for Quench Hunger 2006.

In recognition of National Hunger Awareness Day, June 6th, 2006, and with the goal of raising awareness about hunger in our community, Evian will be donating $1 for every glass bottle of Evian water purchased from participating restaurants during the entire month of June to Atlanta’s Table, (a project of the Atlanta Community Food Bank).

Atlanta’s Table, developed by the ACFB in 1987, retrieves excess prepared food from the hospitality and food-service industry and delivers it to approximately 30 metro Atlanta nonprofit hunger-relief agencies. It is one of the first programs of its kind in the nation, and encourages other cities to develop similar programs through America’s Second Harvest National Food Bank network.
