When you last tuned in, we here at Social Diva had put on our Burberry trenches and our Gucci fedoras to investigate the tiny town that’s making a huge impact…

As we described in our previous email, Alpharetta is poised to become the new epicenter for divalicious OTP living, and recent developments and construction plans will leave Alpharetta Divas with virtually no reason to make the venture down 400, ever.

Though Alpharetta was already the home to T Women’s Clothing (a boutique filled with upscale women’s apparel and a wall-o-designer denim) and the critically-acclaimed Natural Body Day Spa, many other hot-spots are headed OTP:

Spa Jivan and More, a new holistic day spa, features all natural treatments and products, and also has a medically certified aesthetician on staff. The facility offers steam showers and a boutique selling high-end beauty brands. For more information, call (678) 762-4758.

As for the not-so-distant future of the OTHER ‘A’ Town, plans have already been announced for a new boutique hotel (name TBD), Phipps Plaza North (soon to be located on Old Milton Parkway), and of course a new amphitheater that the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will call home.

So, OTP Divas, kiss your Cruise Card goodbye, because unless you have a hankering for some of Gladys Knight and Ron Winan’s Chicken & Waffles, there’s just no need to hit the highway anymore, as everything-Atlanta just moved to your backyard!
